Weather Update 4 – 13 Degree Celsius

Writing from a German perspective, winter is unofficially over from my recent observations. It’s more warmer and cozy and also for the fact that if i can wear a simple graphic T-Shirt under a colorful personalized unzipped Hoodie, tells me the weathers is not so harsh as some people make it out to be.

So why not start a discussion about the many unique ways to dress down from the winter to a more welcoming stylish spring feeling?

As we make the transition into spring we will discover that, people are still wearing those fabulous winter jackets even if there are a few persons who choose to leave their jackets unbutton, because it’s not so cold. But I cant see the point, so here is my Q & A to the undecided and the confuse at heart, why not just loose the winter jacket and wear something that is more practical  and fun, that will makes you more trendy and original. The transition from winter to spring should be the key factor why there is a logical need to make this transition. Cardigans, Thick Woven Wolle Sweaters and Hoodies are not only the smart options when it comes to dressing down for the seasonal transition. So the conscionable question we ask ourselves is, how can one transform a “Cardigan, Sweater or Hoddie picked out of the closet to wear for work, school or play?, then you need to consider a main contributing factors to looking great “ACCESSORIZING”, this is the key to being originally and uniquely STYLISH.

What is ACCESSORIZING you might ask?

This ACCESSORY is an item which is used to contribute, in a secondary manner, to the wearer’s outfit. The term came into use in the 19th century. Accessories are often used to complete an outfit and are chosen to specifically complement the wearer’s look. But for me it’s simply anything that you feel is personal or has somewhat sentimental values relating to your persona.

Here is a pictorial list below that might give you some personal inspiration:

EDB’s EDITORIAL – “LOVE”

2014

A new year expects revolution, ideas, reasoning, understanding and knowing when it is time to say good bye to the past. Fashion over the years has become a constant vacillation and while people try to maintain with the trends others keep themselves distracted with work and never notice the change. Wake up guys! it is never too late to make a difference in how you live a life that is influence by fashion and to emit your influence so it might make an impact in someone’s life.

As easy as the word is written, spelt and abruptly recognize upon a glimpse, in realty this is never the case. But how can one identify with this emotional four letter word (LOVE), this has always been the question I ask myself in search for its true meaning.
LOVE FOR FASHION is my distraction, yes as superficial as it may sound, it’s just the only way I can relate or make any meaningful comparison when it comes to LOVE. Gucci, Prada, Chanel, Versace and Louis Vuitton are my true soul-fashion-mates and my only true superficial LOVE. They keep me warm, secure, confident, motivated and happy. As we grow older we will begin to understand that LOVE can be express in whatever way we choose to express it whether it be superficial, artificial, fake or with sincerity. LOVE IS LOVE.

TAKE NOTE

Sorry I am late readers,

Winter is officially here in Deutschland. I love the sound of this, which is why I am willing to not be so harsh about the coming weeks topics.  I am going to remain cool as I express with word how I feel about people taking dressing before leaving the house so delicately.

When it comes to my city in Germany I observe everything through my fashion binnacles, and I have discovered that no one cares about what they wear in winter. Everyone has just one routine, which normally begins with waking up, taking a shower, have breakfast, “throw” on anything to wear and then go out about their business.

Normally when we wake in the morning we can never be sure what mood we will project, but as we start our morning routine we become more centered and relax, sometimes not. But the best way to get relax is to challenge our brain so we can feel more active and less impulsive. My secret: getting dressed. Trust me with all that is involved in this process, your mind will automatically drift to a happier place and give our brain that little spark of creativity, to wear something that depicts our mood. Yes, even a person who is in a bad mood can transfer this energy to what they wear and still look hot before leaving the house.

What do I know? Enough to know that there are over a hundred thousand fashion designers in the world and they design for every season, in many styles, to match everyone’s persona. So we should not have any excuses for not looking our best when we step outside our door. The key to achieving a great look is shopping, and shopping for the right (what to wear) is not that hard as we make it out to be. I am aware that money plays a significant factor, but this is why I am blogging so I can help people to shop smart and spend less on a tight budget or shop smart on an extravagant budget.

UNDERWEARS !

Don’t get me wrong, for this is how I express fashion “Loud”.

Winter for us calls for a greater attention to keep our body heated to the most relaxing temperature. Wool, Cotton, Cashmere are the top suitable fabrics one can find to do just this and because these fabrics can be so easily sculpt they are often deem to provide not only warmth and comfort but also versatility and that little extra durability.

Designers all over the world treat these fabrics with utmost importance when creating something new to introduce to the world. Pullovers, Hoodies, Jumpers, Cardigans, Sweaters, and Vests are a few primary “underwears” that are created from wool, cotton and cashmere. Reading the labels for most of us is considered to be time wasting, embarrassing and sometimes hard to comprehend. But we should be very aware that in today’s world most winter fabrics are mixed with other fabrics and we often are under the assumption that the product was made from only the original winter fabric. I have no problem against this method, which is why I try to pay keen attention to reading the labels before I make my purchase. Don’t be embarrassed to query when shopping for the authenticity of these fabrics; it could save you frustration and money that we don’t need to waste.  We should always try to buy the products that are virgin or has the least amount of contributing fabrics incorporated into the main winter fabric (Wool, Cotton, and Cashmere).
